In Congress, Don Wiviott will work for additional increases to the minimum wage because hard working wage earners deserve a raise. In addition, he will support legislation that will index the minimum wage to inflation. This means that the minimum wage won't stagnate in the face of cost of living increases and hardworking Americans won't have to wait years and years for politicians in Washington to give them a hard earned raise.

When it comes to trade, Don Wiviott will support trade deals with an eye toward protecting American jobs. That's why Don Wiviott supports smart trade – trade deals that include enforceable labor and environmental standards. These standards will both require reductions in greenhouse emissions and ensure that American labor is competitive in the global marketplace.
